Tedd Graves was born at the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Tellico Plains TN, and now resides in Seymour TN. During his years as a professional entertainer, Tedd has performed at many well known venues such as Billy Bob's in Ft. Worth, TX, headlined at Boulder Station Casino in Las Vegas, Carter Fold in Hiltons VA, The Bijou Theater, and Tennessee Theater in Knoxville TN, The Palace Theatre in Crossville TN, and has been a guest on the Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree on WSM Radio in Nashville. Tedd was a headlining artist for the last 8 years of the long running TN Valley Barn Dance, based in Knoxville TN. He has been the opening act for approximately 50 major country music stars including George Jones, Billy Dean, Shenandoah, Gene Watson, Johnny Paycheck, Jack Greene, and many more. Tedd’s most recent CD album is “Too Young to Care” and the title cut remained in the Top Ten Star Radio Nashville charts for the 30 weeks, as well as reaching #1on the Country Barnyard Indie charts in December 2021! Tedd’s original single release “Southern Sunday Morning” reached the #1 position for 3 weeks on the Star Radio Nashville charts! Tedd’s latest single release “What Would Waylon Say?” claimed the #1 slot on StarRadioNashville charts in November 2022! Being the nephew of Bluegrass Hall of Fame member Josh Graves, and the brother of Master Gold Dobro Player Tim Graves, music to Tedd Graves is a family affair! Tedd Graves specializes in country music, gospel music, and performs his own songs as well!
Graves is an award winning songwriter, winning 1st place in the USSA songwriter competition, and in 2018 his song "Colors" was the title cut of the Bluegrass Album Of The Year through SPBGMA, as recorded by Tim Graves & The Farm Hands on Pinecastle Records! Tim Graves & The Farm Hands’ latest single, and title cut, “Bluegrass DNA” was co-written by Tedd Graves. This album recently soared to #1 on the ADP Global Chart as of January 2023!
