Reach beyond mortality
Spirits in the blackened rainbows
Battles that reside in you and me

Midnight moonlight
Casting shadows in the dark
Can you find a place to hide

Your meditation, shadows move beyond my mind
Growing sense of fear
What in God's name do you seek to find

Look above to see the lightning
Flashing shadows in the storm
Do you run when thunder roars

In each of us, exists a place of peace
Not far out of reach
How do you see things in your mind
In the night or the light of day, never goes away
Near or far the shadows stay

Does the darkness of a shadow ever cease
The battle that's been fought for ages
Steals from life your sense of Godly peace

Darkened shadows fall
In the nightmare of a dream
Are they behind an evil scheme
